Welcome to PicHound (hereinafter referred to as “the Extension”). By using the Extension, you agree to these terms.

1. What PicHound Does

PicHound is a technical tool that helps you:

  • Save images that are already visible and loaded on web pages
  • Filter images by size, format, and domain
  • Edit images locally in your browser
  • Search for similar images using third-party search engines

1.1 What PicHound Does NOT Do

PicHound does NOT and will NOT:

  • Bypass login walls or paywalls
  • Circumvent watermarks or copyright protection
  • Access images that are not already loaded on the page
  • Make additional requests to fetch hidden or protected content
  • Modify or remove watermarks from images
  • Provide “unlock” or “premium bypass” features

2. User Responsibilities

You are fully responsible for the images you save.

Before saving any image, you must ensure:

  • You have the right to save and use the image
  • The image is not protected by copyright, or you have authorization
  • Your use complies with applicable laws and regulations
  • Your use complies with the website’s terms of service

PicHound is designed for:

  • Saving images you have permission to use
  • Personal reference and inspiration collection
  • Downloading your own uploaded images
  • Saving images from websites that explicitly allow it

2.3 Prohibited Use Cases

Do NOT use PicHound to:

  • Download copyrighted images without authorization
  • Collect images for commercial use without permission
  • Infringe on others’ intellectual property rights
  • Violate any website’s terms of service

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Before saving any image, please confirm you have the right to do so.

PicHound displays this warning before saving:

“Please ensure you have authorization to save these images. The extension only provides technical tools. Copyright responsibility lies with the user.”

By proceeding with the save, you confirm that:

  1. You have the necessary rights or authorization
  2. You accept full responsibility for your actions
  3. You will not hold PicHound liable for any copyright issues

4. License Grant

4.1 Scope

Upon purchasing the Extension, you receive:

  • Non-exclusive license to use on up to 3 devices
  • Software updates during license validity
  • Technical support access

4.2 Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or resell the Extension
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the Extension
  • Remove copyright notices
  • Transfer the license without written consent
  • Use for illegal activities

5. Disclaimer

5.1 Technical Tool Only

  • The Extension is provided “as is” without warranties
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • We are not liable for damages from using the Extension

5.2 User Content

  • You bear full responsibility for images you save
  • We do not review, approve, or endorse any images
  • We cannot monitor how you use saved images
  • We are not responsible for copyright disputes

5.3 Third-Party Websites

  • The Extension operates on third-party websites
  • We are not responsible for third-party content or policies
  • Please comply with each website’s terms of service

6. Intellectual Property

  • All Extension IP rights belong to us
  • User interface, icons, documentation are copyright protected
  • Unauthorized trademark use is prohibited

7. Account Responsibility

  • Keep your license key secure
  • Report unauthorized use immediately
  • License key disclosure losses are your responsibility

8. Service Changes

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or terminate services
  • Update features and pricing
  • Modify these terms

Significant changes will be notified in advance.

9. Termination

9.1 By User

You may stop using the Extension at any time.

9.2 By Us

If you violate these terms, we may:

  • Suspend or terminate your license
  • Refuse technical support
  • Take appropriate legal measures
